Cut to order: this rope is cut from a 200m reel to your chosen length, so once cutting begins we cannot cancel or exchange it for a change of mind or a wrong specification. Your rights on faulty, damaged, incorrect or incorrectly cut goods are unaffected.
The Tendon Static 11mm Rope is Tendon's heaviest-duty low-stretch rope, an EN 1891 Type A static line for rope access, rescue and industrial work at height. The extra diameter over the 10mm and 10.5mm Static ropes buys more strength and more sheath to wear through, so it suits the jobs where a slimmer rope would need replacing sooner.
Static ropes are built to stretch as little as possible, and that is what you want when you are descending, hauling or working on a fixed line: the rope stays put, the system stays stable and there is no bounce to fight. At 11mm the Static is a substantial rope in the hand, which is the point for demanding rescue and access use rather than fast-and-light abseiling. It is supplied in white and cut to your chosen length from a 200m reel, from 30m to 80m.
