Tendon Static 10.5mm Rope - Type A Low Stretch for Access & Abseiling

Cut to order: this rope is cut from a 200m reel to your chosen length, so once cutting begins we cannot cancel or exchange it for a change of mind or a wrong specification. Your rights on faulty, damaged, incorrect or incorrectly cut goods are unaffected.

The Tendon Static 10.5mm Rope is a robust Type A low-stretch rope for work at height, rope access, rescue and controlled abseiling. The slightly thicker diameter gives more strength and durability than a 10mm rope, for demanding environments and heavier loads.

With 32 kN tenacity (18 kN with knots) and just 3.6% elongation between 50 and 150 kg, the Static 10.5 minimises bounce and keeps descents and hauling systems stable. Low 0.1% sheath slippage and a balanced 36% sheath mass keep it durable and pleasant to handle, and it is certified to EN 1891 Type A and CE 1019 for professional, safety-critical use. Climbers use it too, for abseiling to the base of trad and sport routes. Within Tendon's static range, the 10mm is the lighter-handling option, the 10.5mm prioritises strength and durability, and the Contra offers maximum protection against damage.
