The MasterCord 7.8 is a dynamic sling made from genuine dynamic rope, built to absorb impact energy rather than transmit it straight to you and your anchor. Where a static Dyneema sling passes a fall's force straight through, the MasterCord's dynamic construction takes some of the sting out of it.

That makes it a natural choice for tethering in, building belay stations, direct belaying and hanging rests, wherever a shock-absorbing connection matters more than outright minimal bulk. Available in three lengths to suit anchors of different sizes.
