Tendon Master 7.8mm Half/Twin Rope - Ultralight Complete Shield

The Tendon Master 7.8mm Half/Twin Rope is an ultralight, fully dry-treated rope for alpine, trad and winter routes. Certified as both a half and a twin, it gives experienced mountain climbers flexible rope systems at just 39 g/m.

Two things set the Master 7.8 apart. TeFIX® technology permanently bonds the sheath to the core, so sheath slippage is 0% and both handling and durability improve. Complete Shield treats the whole rope, not just the sheath, repelling water and dirt so it keeps performing on wet rock, snow and ice. Fall ratings are high for such a thin rope – 16 UIAA falls as a half, 56 as a twin – and dynamic elongation of 32–36% absorbs falls effectively. Choose it when weight matters most: long alpine days, ice climbing and multi-pitch routes with a big approach. Green or red, in 50m, 70m and 80m.
