The Tendon Ambition 9.8mm Single Rope with Complete Shield is a hard-wearing workhorse for climbers who use their rope a lot. It is a thicker, fully dry-treated single rope for beginners, indoor climbers and anyone projecting sport routes who wants durability and controlled handling over low weight.

The 9.8mm diameter and thick braid construction stand up to frequent lowering, repeated falls and abseiling to clean routes, and the extra thickness gives a slower, more controlled feel through a belay device, which is reassuring when you are learning. Complete Shield treatment uses TEFLON ECO nanotechnology to protect both sheath and core from water and dirt, meeting the UIAA 101 water repellent standard and extending the rope's life on gritty crags. Choose the Complete Shield version when you climb outside regularly and want the rope to stay cleaner and drier for longer. Yellow, in lengths from 30m to 80m.
