The Snap Hop Crash Pad is a bi-fold bouldering pad for climbers starting out or climbing now and then. Durable materials, effective impact protection and a fold-in-half design make it a straightforward, reliable choice for outdoor sessions.
Unlike a monoblock pad, the Hop's two-panel construction folds in half to 100 x 60 x 20cm, so it's easy to transport and store. Open, it gives a 120 x 100 x 10cm landing with a dual-layer foam system: a closed-cell PE top layer stabilises the impact and prevents bottoming out, while a high-density open-cell PU layer underneath absorbs and dissipates the energy. Snap rate it for beginner to intermediate falls.
Adjustable padded shoulder straps, two carry handles and aluminium alloy buckles make it comfortable to carry and quick to close up, and the 100% recycled 600D polyester outer with seamless edges is built to withstand regular use.
