The Snap Hip Crash Pad is an entry-level bouldering pad for climbers starting out or climbing occasionally. It's simple, tough and light at 4kg, and gives a consistent 120 x 100 x 10cm landing surface that's easy to carry to the crag.
The monoblock construction means no gaps or weak points, so you get a uniform landing zone across the whole pad. Two foam layers do the work: a closed-cell PE top layer stabilises the landing while a high-density open-cell PU base absorbs the impact, for a balanced, secure feel. Choose the Hip when you want a dependable first pad at a fair price.
The pad folds in half for transport and is secured with aluminium alloy buckles. The shoulder straps sit on top when the pad is open, so they stay clean and off the ground, and they're removable via Velcro so they never get in your way mid-session.
