The Slaphappy Cube Bouldering Pad is a UK-made, half-sized crash pad for tight landings and high sit starts. Open it's 100 x 60cm and 10cm deep; folded it's a 50 x 60cm cube that fits inside a full-size Slaphappy pad for the walk-in.

Half-size pads earn their keep where a big pad won't fit: awkward landings and problems that start high off a sit. The Cube is built like a proper pad, with a 1000D nylon shell, a 1000D Cordura HP landing deck and a three-layer foam sandwich of 2.5cm closed-cell top and bottom around a 6cm open-cell middle. Squared 90° corners mean you get every centimetre of landing area, and it's HIC impact tested.

The foam is replaceable, so the pad can be refreshed rather than replaced, and the closed-cell foam is UK-made with 30% recycled content. It weighs 3.2kg and closes with a chunky YKK zip and G-hook.
