The Highlander Kip Self-Inflating Sleeping Mat is a 3cm foam-core camping mat with an R-value of 3.2 that sets itself up: open the valve, let it expand, fine-tune the firmness. No pump, no lung work, no fuss.

The self-inflating foam lifts you off cold ground and gives consistent support across the whole mat, which makes it more comfortable and forgiving than an air-only inflatable, and warmer too. It's slightly heavier at 960g, but tougher and easier to live with, and the 190T polyester pongee outer is designed for repeated use.
