The Robens HeatCore 3.8R Large Sleeping Mat gives you three-season warmth and a wider 191 x 61cm platform for 460g. More shoulder and hip room, without a heavy mattress in the pack.

Two layers of foil insulation deliver an R-value of 3.8 and a quoted lower temperature limit of -9°C, which covers UK spring-to-autumn trips comfortably. Rather than a few big tubes, the mat uses numerous smaller air chambers across its 7cm depth, so it feels stable when you roll over. The high-flow Robens Peak Valve and the included pump sack make inflation quick, and it packs down to 25 x 9cm. The construction is PFAS-free.
