The Robens Chaser 3XE is a lightweight three-person tent built around the FlexPitch system and Inner Ring Suspension. The flysheet, inner or both can be pitched to suit the weather, creating anything from full protection to a partly sheltered, bug-free view of the sky.
The inner gear rope transfers to the flysheet to help retain shape when the outer is used on its own. Low-level and apex ventilation, two-way door zips and entrances on both sides improve airflow and access, while one side includes a useful porch for sheltered storage.
Practise pitching before a trip, use suitable anchors for the ground and conditions, and inspect the shelter, poles, seams and guylines before use. Keep all flames, stoves and heat sources away from tent and tarp fabrics unless the manufacturer specifically states otherwise.
