The Highlander RAYET Hybrid 250E Sleeping Bag is a 2-3 season synthetic mummy bag with a comfort rating of 6°C and a lower limit of 1°C, made for spring, summer and mild autumn nights. It's the lightest and most packable of the three RAYET bags, and the one we'd point beginners and fair-weather campers towards.
The fill is 250g/m² siliconised hollow fibre (40%) blended with polyester (60%), which keeps its warmth when tent condensation gets to it, dries quickly, compresses easily and holds its loft after repeated use. That's why it suits UK camping, where damp is a given. The mummy shape holds heat, the foot box is cut slightly roomier for comfort, and a thermal hood and shoulder baffle with drawcords seal it up on cooler nights. Choose the 250E if you mainly camp in warm conditions and want light and compact; the 350E is the all-rounder for multiple seasons, and the 450E is for cold nights and exposed camps.
