The Outdoor Research Sun Runner Cap is a UPF 40 sun cap with a removable neck cape for long, bright days on the trail or at the crag. It's for runners, hikers, climbers and paddlers who burn before they notice.

The cape goes on when the sun is high and comes off when it isn't, and a chin cord keeps the whole thing on in a breeze. Mesh side panels vent heat, the TransAction™ headband wicks sweat out of your eyes, and the 7cm (2.75in) brim has a dark underside to cut glare off rock and water. The fabric is a bluesign® approved 60% recycled nylon blend, and the cap weighs 85g. Choose the Sun Runner over a plain cap when your ears and neck need covering too.
