A GORE-TEX® shell built for climbers, not just walkers. The Outdoor Research Men's Headwall Gore-Tex 3L Jacket is a fully taped, three-layer waterproof jacket for technical alpine climbing, ski touring and mountaineering, with a helmet-compatible hood and hand pockets that sit above a harness.

The fabric is GORE-TEX® 3L ePE recycled polyester (bluesign® approved), closed with YKK® Aquaguard® zips, so it's weatherproof from the hem up. What sets it apart for climbing is the venting: TorsoFlo™ zips run from the hem to the bicep, so you can dump heat on a hard approach without taking the jacket off or losing the hood. The hood is adjustable and fits over a climbing helmet, and the hand pockets are positioned above hip belts so you can still reach them with a harness or pack on.
