The trousers most climbers end up living in. The Outdoor Research Men's Ferrosi Pant is Outdoor Research's best-selling trail-and-travel trouser, here in the 34in inseam: harness-compatible waist, water- and wind-resistant stretch fabric and built-in UPF 50+ sun protection.

Ferrosi fabric is the reason. A bluesign® approved blend of recycled nylon, nylon and spandex, it stretches with every high step and rock-over, dries quickly when it gets wet and resists abrasion when you're scuffing up a gully. The waistband is lined with brushed tricot and designed to sit comfortably under a harness, so there's no digging in on a hanging belay. At 360g they're light enough for summer approaches and tough enough for a full season of crag days.

Choose the Ferrosi when you want one pair of trousers for the approach walk, the route and the pub afterwards. This listing is the 34in inseam.
