Ultralight Shelter for Fast & Light Missions
The Outdoor Research Helium Bivy (PFAS-Free) is an award-winning ultralight bivy designed for adventurers who prioritise speed, minimal weight, and dependable weather protection.
Updated with Pertex® Shield Diamond Fuse technology, it delivers improved durability while remaining exceptionally lightweight-now 14% lighter than the previous generation. Fully seam-taped and waterproof, it offers reliable protection in exposed conditions without the bulk of a traditional tent.
The clamshell opening makes entry and exit quick and easy, while the streamlined, tapered shape reduces weight and pack size-ideal for thru-hikers, climbers, and fastpackers. A high-volume toe box improves comfort, and the integrated pole system adds structure while keeping things minimal.
PFAS-free construction (Cenote version) ensures a more environmentally conscious design without compromising performance.

Light. Compact. Good head room
I suspect all bivvy bag will have this issue but it can get sweaty. Also the condensation that forms outside the pertex will be felt as it is cold. Fortunately this material doesn’t develop condensation on the inside so at least it’s dry.
Delivered on time, product looks good, hoping it lives up to its expectations. Only time will I’ll tell as not tested yet
