The Outdoor Research Men's Deviator Hoodie is active insulation for going hard in the cold. VerticalX™ Octa insulation and ActiveTemp™ hybrid-mapped fabrics keep your core warm while letting heat and sweat out, so you can push on without stopping to strip layers.
The construction is mapped to how you overheat: a weather-resistant 20D stretch-woven shell covers the hood, shoulders, sleeves and front where wind and weather hit, while breathable grid fleece runs down the back, sides and underarms where you sweat. The VerticalX™ Octa insulation has an open structure with no liner needed, is 50% lighter than traditional insulation, and feels soft against the skin. Choose the Deviator for trail running, ski touring, fast hiking and alpine climbing in cool conditions – the days when you'd overheat in a normal insulated jacket.
