Metolius Element Keylock Carabiner - Pear-Shaped Belay Locker (24kN)

The Metolius Element Keylock Carabiner is a compact, pear-shaped locking carabiner for belaying, rappelling and general climbing use. Rated to 24kN and weighing 73g, it's the sort of locker that lives on your harness for years.

The HMS-style pear shape gives belay devices room to sit properly, and the 12mm rope-bearing surface keeps the rope running smoothly during belays and descents. The keylock nose has no notch to hook on gear, so clipping and unclipping stay clean, and at 97 × 62 mm it's small enough to handle easily without feeling cramped. Durable construction for daily wear and tear; CE and UIAA certified.
