Metolius 4-Step Aider - Compact Aid Climbing Ladder (241g)

The Metolius 4-Step Aider is a lightweight, compact aid ladder for climbers who want efficient movement with less bulk. At 241g (8.5 oz) and 1524mm (60") long it's the lower-profile choice, with better control in tight positions than a 5-step.

Staggered triangular steps with Biothane™ stiffeners stay open, so your foot goes straight in and you keep your rhythm on gear. A reinforced top clip-in point gives a secure connection to your placement, the full-strength grab loop lets you pull up and balance efficiently, sub-steps in the upper sections give extra foothold options on awkward placements, and a bottom clip-in point lets you link aiders together. Choose the 4-step when you want a compact setup for technical or multi-pitch aid.

Why you'll love it

• Lightweight – only 241g
• Reinforced clip-in point – secure, durable primary attachment
