Kayland Vitrik GTX Approach Shoes - Waterproof Gore-Tex® (410g)

The Kayland Vitrik GTX Approach Shoes are waterproof, Gore-Tex® lined approach shoes with a Vibram® Gravity Megagrip outsole, made for rocky terrain, technical trails and mixed mountain ground. At 410g they're light on the walk-in and precise enough to scramble in.

The lacing runs asymmetrically all the way to the toe, climbing-shoe style, for a precise fit and better control on technical ground, and the ALS (Ankle Lock System) keeps the foot securely held. Underfoot, the Megagrip sole has a climbing zone for precise placements and a braking zone for controlled descents, with a lug design that grips on rock, dirt and mixed terrain. A bi-density microporous midsole gives stability and shock absorption over long approaches, and the reinforced toe and heel take the knocks. The GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort lining keeps feet dry in the wet whilst staying breathable, and it's designed for moderate to warm climates and high-output use.
