The Kayland Cross Mountain Women's GTX Boots are waterproof, semi-automatic crampon-compatible mountain boots that blend the comfort of a trekking boot with the precision and support of a mountaineering model. They're built for women who need serious performance on rock, snow, ice and demanding mountain routes without stepping all the way up to a full alpine boot.

The GORE-TEX® Performance Comfort lining keeps feet dry in wet, cold conditions and stays breathable over long days. Underfoot, the Vibram® Mulaz Evo outsole uses a 360° helical tread for grip uphill and down, with a climbing zone at the toe for precision on rock, and promotes a stable, natural walking motion. The Ankle Lock System (ALS) holds the ankle securely whilst allowing natural movement, the extended, asymmetrical, toe-focused lacing gives a precise fit, and a bi-density midsole with TPU absorbs shock and cuts fatigue. Crampon compatibility is where they part company with standard hiking boots. Choose them for mountain hiking, scrambling, alpine approaches and summer mountaineering where a normal walking boot isn't enough.
