The CCE French Connection 15 climbing holds set is the all-rounder: pockets, jugs, slopers, crimps, bars and footholds in one box. Shaped by Julius Kerscher, it lets you set everything from a first-timer's warm-up to a technical test piece on the same wall.

The 15 holds come from a series of more than 130 shapes that run from micro holds up to XL slopers, so there is real range even in a starter set. The varied footholds keep movement smooth on steeper or more demanding terrain, and the set works on both bouldering and roped walls. There is character here too: the shapes subtly reference classic French climbing areas, which is a nice touch when your wall is in a garage in the Peak.
