The Bushmen Bushcraft Auger 25 is a manual 25mm hand auger for building wooden camp structures. It lets you drill holes and shape matching tenons so poles and branches can be joined without nails or screws.

A threaded lead screw bites into the wood while the spiral cutting edge removes material with every turn, and the beechwood cross handle gives plenty of leverage for a smooth, controlled drive. The steel handle socket doubles as a tenon cutter, shaping the end of a branch down to 25mm so it fits the hole you have just drilled. The beech handle itself is 25mm in diameter, so it works as a sizing gauge, and carries a 0–15cm / 0–6" ruler scale. Everything stores together in a fitted waxed cotton pouch.
