Boulder Bluff – The Bouldering Card Game

Outclimb your friends – or outbluff them. Boulder Bluff turns the tension of a bouldering attempt into a fast, sociable card game. Pick a route, play your moves (some face up, some face down) and dare everyone else to call your bluff. Do they let you top out, or put up a fight?

Inspired by real bouldering in Fontainebleau, the cards are packed with illustrated routes and climbing references that climbers will instantly recognise – but you don't need any climbing knowledge to play. It's quick to teach, so it works just as well for a rest-day session with your climbing partners as it does for a family game night.

Why we like it

• Easy to learn, quick to play – a round of bluffing in 30–45 minutes
• Beautiful illustrated cards with real climbing terms and humour
• Tactile wooden chalk and injury tokens, plus a little velvet chalk bag
• Compact box – easy to take to the wall, the hut or on a climbing trip
• A great gift for climbers, boulderers and board gamers alike
