The Blue Ice Warthog 40L Alpine Backpack is a high-performance pack for demanding, technical mountain routes. It weighs 700g fully featured and 600g stripped, so you can shed up to 100g by removing components when the objective calls for it.
Built on Blue Ice's advanced fit platform, the harness-inspired shoulder straps sit low-profile and spread the load well over long technical days. The fabric is 210D Robic nylon ripstop, PFC-free and bluesign approved, with a carbonate coating that sheds snow and ice and resists abrasion in harsh winter conditions. Dual ice axe holders, a 3D ice tool sleeve and an integrated rope carry system handle the sharp stuff, and it comes in two fit sizes, S/M and M/L. Choose the Warthog 40L when you want a full alpine feature set that can be stripped down for fast ascents.
