Blue Ice Harfang Alpine Hybrid Crampons - Steel/Aluminium 12-Point

The Blue Ice Harfang Alpine Hybrid Crampons are 12-point mountaineering crampons that put steel where you need grip and aluminium where you need to save weight. The result is a crampon for classic mountaineering that bites on snow and ice, packs down small and doesn't weigh on you over a long approach.

The steel front rail gives a secure bite on hard snow and ice, with an asymmetrical shape for balance and precision, while the aluminium rear rail trims weight compared with a full-steel crampon. Blue Ice's central textile strap system reduces bulk and improves packability, and anti-balling plates on both rails keep wet snow from building up. Choose the Hybrid over a full-steel crampon when your days are more snow and glacier than sustained ice.
