Blue Ice Griffin 10 Universal Crampons - 10-Point Strap-On Fit

The Blue Ice Griffin 10 Universal Crampons are lightweight 10-point crampons with a universal strap-on binding that fits most mountaineering boots, welts or no welts. They're built for mountaineering, glacier travel and ski touring where you want reliable traction without a heavy, over-specified crampon.

The 10-point steel frame grips well on hard snow and front-points reliably on ice. Blue Ice's quick adjustment system, with a central steel bar and sliding collar, lets you fit them precisely to the boot and keeps them locked in place once you're moving. The 3D-shaped front and rear rails are made from just 2mm steel, so they penetrate snow and ice well without adding weight. Choose the Universal if your boots lack a heel welt or you want one pair of crampons to share across several boots; note they aren't compatible with ski boots.
