Blue Ice Falk Ice Axe - Ultralight Ski Mountaineering Piolet (282g)

The Blue Ice Falk Ice Axe is a lightweight, easy-to-use axe for ski touring and classic mountaineering. At 282g in the 45cm length it disappears on your pack, yet the chromoly steel head gives strong, dependable anchoring in snow and ice.

It follows the same design philosophy as the award-winning Blue Ice Hummingbird, in a durable, beginner-friendly package. The curved aircraft-grade aluminium shaft improves swing ergonomics, and the dual-textured grip keeps handling secure in the cold. Choose the Falk if you're starting out in ski mountaineering, or if you're experienced and simply want a very light axe for glacier travel and alpine routes.
