The Blue Ice Alpine Hauler 45L is a haul bag light enough to free-climb in. It is built for fast alpine-style ascents where one pack has to be worn on the approach, climbed in on technical pitches and hauled up the hard ones, without carrying dead weight for the privilege.

The whole bag is made from ALUULA's high-performance UHMWPE composite, a mono-material fabric that is lighter than nylon or polyester, has a strength-to-weight ratio around eight times that of steel, and is fully recyclable. That is how a 45-litre hauler comes in under 600g. A quick-release 3-point hauling system means switching between carrying and hauling on the wall takes seconds. Choose it when a traditional haul bag is too heavy for the route and a normal climbing pack is too fragile for the hauling.
