Blue Ice Akila LT Adze Ice Axe - Packable Technical Piolet (43cm)

The Blue Ice Akila LT Adze Ice Axe is the full Akila head on a shortened 43cm shaft, made for ski mountaineering and fast alpine missions. It slips inside your pack when you don't need it and gives you a properly technical tool when you do.

The technical steel head keeps the adze for chopping steps and cutting snow anchors, while the curved, bevelled aluminium shaft gives clearance on steep ground. An integrated tech pommel and bi-textured grip give you control when it's in your hand, and the diagonal-cut shaft base doubles as a spike. Components are removable so you can adapt it to the objective. Choose the LT when packability matters more than shaft length.
