The DMM Shadow HMS Screwgate is a large, lightweight pear-shaped locker with a deep, wide basket and a short gate that maximises the opening. At 70g it's a trad essential for belays, anchors and Italian hitches.

The big top basket takes up to three clove hitches with ropes under 9.5mm, so it's easy to build and manage a belay off a single carabiner. The 22mm gate opening makes clipping thick ropes, slings and harness belay loops straightforward, and the screwgate sleeve gives simple, positive locking. The classic Titanium/Lime finish is easy to spot on your harness.
