DMM Dynatec 11mm Dyneema Sling - 30cm to 240cm (22kN)

DMM's Dynatec 11mm Dyneema Slings are light, strong sewn slings rated to 22kN, in colour-coded lengths from 30cm to 240cm. Dyneema has a higher strength-to-weight ratio than nylon webbing, resists UV and abrasion better, and absorbs far less water – an important consideration for winter climbing.

The 11mm width is a good middle ground: slim enough to thread narrow constrictions and sit well on marginal spikes, but a little easier to handle than the skinniest slings. Use the 30cm and 60cm lengths for threads and extending placements to cut rope drag, the 120cm for building anchors and slinging blocks, and the 240cm for big features, trees and equalised belays. Each length has its own colour so you can grab the right one from your rack.
